Stephen wrote and directed nine short films. He earned film degrees at the University of Central Florida and the City College of New York.

He also completed five screenplays, and was a Chesterfield Writer's finalist for his first screenplay, The Binary Sonata. 

Inspired by his award winning short film, The Paper Castle, his full-length screenplay has just been optioned by Marble Light Entertainment to be produced into a Hollywood feature film.
